Find engineers, offer them a job in Upington

I was pursuing a qualification in Bachelor of Engineering Technology specialising in the field of Mechanical Engineering. I have completed and passed all the registered final-year modules for the qualification at the end of November 2022, and will graduate on 08 May 2023. I am a motivated, goal-driven, organised, disciplined and an eager to gain knowledge Mechanical Engineering individual. From my enrolment year of the course until now, I have built up transferrable skills and qualities from the knowledge and laboratory work I completed well in the relevant coursework. I have learned that safety awareness and compliance in every Mechanical Engineering problem are critical. I have experience working alone and collaborating as part of a team with my assigned classmates on specific assessments given thus far. I have analytical and problem-solving capabilities and verbal and accurate written communication skills. I am a fast learner prepared to go above and beyond for every Mechanical Engineering problem of interest. In terms of project work, I have developed abilities in 3D design modelling and simulation, an understanding of material science, manufacturing principles and technologies, and the broader context of an engineering design process. I am hopeful that one day I will serve in the Design, Manufacturing, Automotive, and Energy sectors as one of the most prominent and influential sectors of the country due to its strong impact on the economy of South Africa and also on the livelihoods of its members because of its highly appreciated culture of fostering change, equality in the workspace, and the country's economic growth. I believe upon receiving this graduate opportunity, I will be able to cherish and accomplish my goal of being a successful “Thermo-mechanical” or “Fluid mechanical engineer”, to play a role in contributing the knowledge and love of my “desired expertise” to the company’s solutions to ensure a good name is built for the company and good economic prosperity is achieved for it and this country. I am interested in being given the Graduate/ Internship programme opportunity and look forward to learning more about your requirements.

I completed N4,5,6 in electrical engineering at College of Cape Town. I also completed the Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology at Central University of Technology, Bloemfontein, RSA. Prevoiusly, employers told me that I am under qualified. Currently, I am told that I am over qualified for a learnership / apprenticeship. I would like to obtain practical experience in my field of study. I am hardworking and eager to learn. I can both work in a team and in solo to achieve company objectives. I am willing to travel and walk the extra mile. I am of silent disposition but speak my mind when needed. I currently teach at Upington TVET College as a Junior lecturer on a contract basis until 31/12/2022. I do not have any other contractual obligations and can start immediately. I seek a chance to equipt myself and complete my practical part in the hope to become an excellent certified qualified electrical engineer. I would like to ease the critical skills shortage in our country and assit your company to reach your goals effectively and efficiently.
